Administrators can easily distribute content using Media Manager's Share Links. Whether choosing an individual file or a group of files, the process is simple. Below is a short outline of how to create a link. The process is very similar to a Guest (end) User or Collaborator creating a link. For a more thorough overview, click here.
Sharing Single & Bulk Assets
- Select and distribute an individual asset by hovering over a thumbnail, click the ellipses and choose Share from the dropdown menu. You can also click on the thumbnail, entering the Asset Detail Page and choosing Share at the bottom of the modal.
- Select and distribute multiple assets from the grid view by clicking their checkboxes or the name of the Section. Choose Share from the blue actions panel at the bottom of the screen.
Share Link Menu Options
You'll find a number of options available for customizing your Share Link, including:
- Set Privacy
- Request email to access
- Disable download (view only)
- Set expiry date
- Notify me of updates to the Share Link
Additional Link Security
Admins can apply the following additional restrictions by going to Settings > General Settings > Advanced tab:
- Restrict sharing of links to users with library access. This removes the 'make link private' option for users creating links.
- Require an ID to access the link. This removes the 'require email address...' option for users creating links.
Manage Links
Administrators can view/edit all links by going to Settings > Bulk Actions > Share Links
